The Do Good Program

From the beginning we here at proof wanted to not only sell products we loved and felt others would love as well, but we also wanted to create a business model that would help those in need. Proof is modeled in a way that way can do just that HELP. We pride ourselves in getting involved in causes that do good, whether it be in our local community or around the world, we want to be there to support. Proof has and will continue to get involved in these great causes. Whether it be donating a portion of each sale of each product made or lending a helping hand, No project is too big or too small.


Along with doing good to mother nature by using sustainable materials in products, we also
pride ourselves in doing good to those around us. A large portion of each sunglass /eyewear sale goes to a
charity in India that provides sight–giving cataract surgeries to those in need. There are countless people in
need in third world countries, and a little bit of help can go a long way in restoring sight to thousands.

The India Project

In 2013, we decided to use a portion of each sale to build two eye clinics in India. Both eye clinics have provided sight-giving cataract surgeries to those in need; because the Indian community houses over ¼ of the world’s blind population, the eye clinics have been an effective addition to both areas. After watching both communities use these eye clinics, we saw how a little bit of help can go a long way in restoring sight to thousands.



As part of its commitment to sustainability and giving back, I Want Proof is teaming up with The Nature Conservancy to celebrate healthy outdoor lifestyles and raising awareness for conservation with its #NatureofSummer promotion.


For the entire month of June, Proof Eyewear will donate 100% of the proceeds from the sale of special edition sunglasses, crafted from FSC-certified wood, to The Nature Conservancy. Proof has committed to donating a minimum of $12,000 to the Conservancy through this project.

C.O.O. of I Want Proof said, “We’re really excited to be partnering up with The Nature Conservancy for the #NatureOfSummer Campaign! We full heartedly believe in the lasting differences TNC makes to our lands here in Idaho and all around the world. We believe this project will shed light on the importance of conservation efforts to a younger generation and feel honored to be part of the process.”

The design of the shades was inspired by Proof’s love of nature and summer. It features a salmon silhouette as a shout out to water and conservation in the West. The inside arm is inscribed with the words “Get lost in nature and find yourself.” 100% of the proceeds from the sale of “Nature Pledge” will go to The Nature Conservancy.

During the promotion, Proof will celebrate healthy outdoor lifestyles and encourage its supporters to learn more about the Conservancy’s conservation work in Idaho and around the world.
